What's new in OS Deployment?
- Easy to use & deploy: The solution is easy to use and deploy in an enterprise environment.
- Process driven: OS Deployment is process driven and has been developed on the basis of years of experience with best practice internationally. This enables IT organizations to increase end user productivity, reduce support time and minimize operational costs.
- Includes Change log: Each object in the system does have a change log. Using this log it is possible to track changes for a single object.
New Patch Management released
A cutting edge solution for distributing updates in a managed network
CapaInstaller Patch Management allows full control of all software updates in a managed network by integrating with Microsoft's WSUS 3.0 server. This solution enables you to decrease the costs involved in delivering updates throughout your organization by avoiding system crashes due to incompatible updates.
What's new in Patch Management?
- Drag-and-drop: With this new view it is now possible to drag and drop updates to a designated Mode, for a specific approval. Likewise the drag and drop functions is also possible for computers, when assigning computers to different computer groups.
- Up-to-date: All updates and computers are automatically synchronized every hour, which ensures that the Patch Management console is up to date.
- Computer Assignment: When computers arrive to the WSUS 3.0 server it is possible to set an option that assigns all the new computers to Production group. This ensures that the administrators do not have to assign the computers and that newly arrived computers are up to date with all updates that have been approved for production.
New courses available
