No more inefficiency
The traditional data center management approaches are based on configuring the specific metrics that needs monitoring. When monitoring servers and applications in a data center, that makes a lot of sense. However, the challenge with this approach is two-fold: 1) it does not tell you what the end-user experience and 2) if you wanted to monitor every possible combination of end-user experiences, the task would be impossible. Therefore, well architected end-user based performance monitoring is based on an agent that monitor everything that the end-user experiences and then uses advanced, yet easy to use, reporting to derive the right information out of the data gathered.
Performance Guard™ approaches this challenge by using a small footprint, zero-configuration, easy to deploy agent installed on each end-user PC or virtual PC (in server based computing environments). The agent reports performance data to an enterprise class platform for collecting, storing and reporting on performance data.
